Emergency Electrical Work in Concord, NC

Having consistent power in your home is something that many people often take for granted. With the flip of a switch, lights can be turned on and off at any time of day or night. When your electrical system fails, not only is it a major inconvenience, but it can lead to safety concerns.

LiveWire Electrical was recently contacted by the Williams family, who was having issues with their power going out. They recently moved into their dream home in The Mills at Rock River in Concord, NC. Needless to say, they were disappointed with their new home and needed an emergency service to keep their power on. Here’s what we discovered and why calling LiveWire Electrical was the best choice.

A Revealing Inspection

The Williams family had already spent a few months in their new home in The Mills at Rock River. After spending months looking for their dream home, they were thrilled to find just what they were looking for. One weekend, they noticed that their power was continually going out. There were no storms and no damage to the home. After a visual inspection, they did not know what was going on.

They had heard about LiveWire Electrical and decided to give us a call through our emergency service line. Ignoring electrical issues in your home can be extremely dangerous. Undiagnosed electrical issues lead to hundreds of deaths and billions of dollars in property damage every year.

Our certified electricians were at the home in very little time to begin the assessment. We checked for damaged wires, overloaded circuits, and other common causes for consistent power outages. After a thorough inspection, we found that the electrical panel was faulty and needed to be replaced.

Fixing the Problem

A faulty electrical panel not only causes power outages, but they can potentially be dangerous. Damaged wires and overloaded circuits can lead to devastating electrical fires, so it’s important to have a panel with the correct amperage for your home. Most modern homes need with a minimum of 200 amperage systems in order to handle various appliances and electronics in a home.

We discovered that since the home was older, their panel was rated at 60 amps, which was well under what was needed for the home. When everyone was home over the weekend, the panel was becoming overloaded, which caused the entire system to fail. We specialize in panel replacements and upgrades and were able to upgrade their panel in less than a day.

FEATURED REVIEW OF LIVEWIRE ELECTRICAL BY DAN P. ON GOOGLE

Bobby was terrific! I got the appointment set up with him and he was prompt,
professional, and very communicative. Very reasonably priced as well!
I would recommend him to family and friends. He installed my Tesla wall charger
very quickly and perfectly and that’s all I can ask for! Great guy.
